My rooster attacked a hawk!

Awesome! Is he ok or did he have any cuts? He might have puncture wounds if the hawks talons collided with him.

Otherwise give him some treats and a new lady!

My hens were free rang until one day one of my hens disappeared and i never saw her again.

Until 3 weeks ago i finally finished the outdoor chicken pen.

What a good boy he is. Had a coopers hawk land on top of our run last week. Our boy let out a loud get your butts in the coop cry and they obeyed. The hawk came back 2 more times then realized he would have to fly thru the wire to get in. He was about 1/3 the size of our hens. Wondering do I have to worry about him trying to attack when they are free ranging. Our boy would make 10 of him.
