Could someone tell me if something is wrong. He seems to want to stand on one leg at the time only,. It look bloody around the scales on top of his legs.
In case I need to treat him, I also need to know how to catch him and handle him He's not too aggressive, but he'll go for my calf sometimes when I turn around.
He is a french copper maran and the girls that I have from the same breed, have white legs, nothing as pink as these legs>

The best way to catch him is when he is on the roost at night. Chickens don't want to move in the dark. You could wrap him in a towel so he won't thrash around. Maybe a helper could hold him which you examine his feet better or medicate them.

Some chickens have oddly colored legs. Some of mine have green spots. My chickens legs turn pink when they are cold, so, if it is chilly that probably is the cause. The bloody look on mine is just really darker pink skin. Picking a chicken up at night is the best or cornering. Hope it turns out well!
