My rooster is always sleepy after eating poisoned cockroaches!

Hello, i really need help on what to do and i am extremely worried.
A few days ago the exterminator came to my house to exterminate the cockroaches in my house and outside. After he sprayed the area the cockroaches were running away from the extermination outside. This is when my rooster started to eat them and he ate about 3-4.
This is when i started to notice a few days later that he wasnt as alert as he was and sleeps most of the time. He also drowses off

He also drowses off while standing. What do i do? Im assuming its from the cockroaches and i dont know how to treat him and im worried if he dies since im very close to him. Please give me some advice

Get him some activated charcoal as soon as you can, it helps absorb toxins. You may need to do more, but I think that will help get you started!

Poultry DVM says they can handle 2000-8000 mg…depending on size of chicken. I gave my 8 lb rooster one 560mg pill without issue—I’m no doctor though so I can only share what I’ve done. With a known chance of poisoning I’d probably double the dose I have and do 1000 mg at the very least. Someone like @azygous or @Wyorp Rock may have more precise info!

The rule is that the amount of activated charcoal must equal or exceed the amount of poison. I hope by now you have gotten some down your rooster. Be sure he drinks plenty of water following the charcoal.

It would be helpful to know what the insecticide was that was used by the exterminator. It should be listed on the invoice.

I'll give it to him right when i get home since unfortunately i havent been home all day thank you for the help ill give updates. He's a very strong rooster i hope he can make it
