My rooster won't eat or drink after a bad fight. Please help!

Do you have a brooder lamp so you can give him some extra heat..when something IRS into shock their body temp drops basically readying them for death. The body starts to shut down, so sometimes keeping something toasty can help break the trance of shock and death

I have 3 brooder lamps... but all of them are currently being used by 3 different batches of chicks. I'll bring him inside our house for the night.

Hopefully that will help him. Keep him warm, in the dark, see about getting him some vitamins, but for now you could put a pinch of sugar water in his eye dropper. Just something to keep him hanging in there til his face is doing a little better

I am so sorry Coch, only advise I can give that what is given is when you try to feed pull down hard on wattles to get him to open his mouth then you wont have to touch his beak and when you have the liquids in his mouth let the wattles fly. as long as there is no damage to them from the fight????

His wattles are full of bloody scabs... I could post a picture, but I don't think that'd it help the "eating and drinking" problem.

If I do try to use a feeding tube, what should I put in it? His normal food softened with water?
