My roosters eye is swollen and his beak is full of mucus

putting the eye aside the beak mucus could be from a crop infection, which makes them lethargic, not have an appetite, etc.
I went up this morning and he didn’t leave his roost as the girls did I had to usher him down he’s drooling and being very static

It could be a sinus infection which affects the eyes. (Since the eyes are near the nose)

this seems strange i have never seen this before, you might want to consider taking him to the vet to get this looked at

Unfortunately we cannot afford to take him to the vet we’re hoping some water will flush him out
