My Rottweilers :D

He is adorable, and yes, I would expect he is a purebred dog. Cute expression, nice heavy bone.

For me at this point, he does not look to have what will be a "show dog" type of head, but my what a big smile!

Here is a picture of my "bottle baby" He is rather spoiled....He is the only surviver out of a litter of 11.....wonder how hard it would be to train the "OX" for show!!

Olli, it is very difficult to pick out a SHOW quality from puppies, they got some growing up to do! If I had to find faults, I dont think his head is broad enough. Got sweetness written all over him!

Such a cute pup!

EweSheep, you are very correct. While experienced eyes can make a good ESTIMATE at 7 to 8 weeks of age, it is still an estimate, and the puppy is always placed/sold as a show PROSPECT. You still have the bite to grow out, which has several ways to go wrong, or teeth can be missing, or any number of other things that can and do go wrong between 8 weeks and maturity.

Some we can predict better. It is generally thought that at 8 weeks the puppies are very similar to what they will be as adults structurally.
