Sadly kiddo, if its a private run school...what they say goes. If it was public its different. Sorry.

At some point when you were being enrolled in this school there had to have been paperwork that was signed by a parent acknowledging this to be a term of your enrollment.

Have a parent go back and read the paperwork.

For Pete's sake!!! Going to an unaccredited school can all but ruin your chance of a future higher education. I doubt, with the horrible example of spelling/grammer of the rule book, that you would be able to successfully challenge an "end of grade" test to qualify for college.

that is some serious bull****!!!!!

i thought my christian school was bad, wow

im really sorry about that, i wouldnt give them my info, but you should decide weather you wanna get in trouble or not.

thats honestly ridiculous!!

Settle down there wild one.

People, lets not make this a public vs private school debate. How many of your congressmen and senators send their kids to public schools? There are good and bad schools both public and private. I don't know the name of BWC's school so it would be unwise of me to cast judgement.

I agree I do not want this post locked.I'm just asking others opinions.

People love to get all worked up about stuff like this and kids love to stage protests and rebel against the system. It's part of growing up.

I don't like that rule either but our children must be protected. That is one of the main reasons why people send their children to private schools, especially Christian ones. The reality is many kids are going to find ways around this rule just for the challenge of it. I guarantee many of your upper classmen have secret names that the school can't prove are theirs.

Pretty simple if you don't like the rules don't go there. It is a private school they can set the rules. Personally I think you could have the same policy without the overhead of collecting info from kids but it is their school their rules if enough parents don't like it I am sure it will change.

I work in Technology at a Private Christian College and my wife works at a Christian high and middle school so let me give my two cents on this.

I agree this policy is a bit overboard and parents need to monitor what their children are doing. Having said that I think that all kids should go through a mandatory class in Jr. High on "Managing Your Digital Image."

I see it all the time kids post things on blogs, Facebook, MySpace, or send pictures back and forth on their phones and don't get that this stuff is FOREVER. They write stuff on their blogs like it is a personal diary thinking nobody will ever read it. Then oneday when they are applying for a job and the boss Google searches them and finds inappropriate pictures or pictures of them at some drunken frat party it is going to have an effect on their lives and it isn't going to be positive.

The internet has changed things and kids need to be aware that once it is on the web it is there forever. Someone somewhere is storing it. Your digital reputation is important and you should actively manage it.

Off the soap box now.
