my shocking addiction and hoarding shows

I hate that toddlers show.the parents are from another planet and I think they just make their kids crazy.none of the kids seem happy.

Those mothers on that Toddlers and Tiaras show make me so mad! I hate that they are making these little girls look like grown women! They have them SPRAY TANNED for goodness sake!!! I just don't get it.

The only thing that makes me angrier than Toddlers & Tiara's are those stupid teen mom shows:"16 & Pregnant" "Teen Mom" Whatever, I don't even know the names, but the whole concept sickens me. Talk about glorifying teen pregnancy. Watched about ten minutes of one and was so disgusted that any network would promote such a show. It's on MTV no less, targeted toward teens!!

Yeah, nope. I can't/won't watch those 16 and pregnant shows.

But the Toddlers show...

Every time the mothers of these beauty queens talk about their daughters gaining confidence and poise I do my eye-roll. In the next breath they'll berate their children for missing a shimmy or for not blowing a kiss at the judges. Yeah, that builds self esteem alright. And don't forget all the times they say their child is having fun. Yup. It sure looks fun to me. (another eye-roll) The child is over tired and over stimulated and yet has to perform or suffer the wrath of Mommy Dearest. Who has more meltdown moments? The moms or the kids?

I'm so glad I live in an entirely different world.

I've noticed a lot of older women (70-80's) I work for, collect cloth, wool, sewing stuff, craft supplies.
Not just a little bit, rooms and garages full. there is no possible way they could ever use all of that stuff. They are constantly re-packing and moving it around. They forget what they have and its like Christmas for them.
Some are complusive shoppers too, clothes, food etc..

Unfortunately, they seem to be fairly popular with some of the really YOUNG teens -- the 7-9th graders...

don't waste your time.....it's a sickness.....this country is obsessed with weird and outrageous behavior...It's Jerry Springer syndrome. Turn off the crap and go read a book or plant a garden or volunteer...do something decent with your time and try to counteract the horrible karma these "reality" people are spewing into the world.

these shows are nothing but pure gold... i love these shows... as i type, i'm watching the animal hoarding episode they recorded for me about the chickens...

it's funny, because no one ever used that word before the shows... now we sit back and trip out on some people we knew that were hoarders... LOL... but those people on tv are just pigs... i have friends that have over 500 reptiles in their house, and you can't really tell there are there...

It is a modern version of the circus freak side show. You know that you don't want to look, but you can't stop yourself.
