I completely agree with you, Silkies are amazing. I got silkies by accident and just fell in LOVE. I am so sorry to hear of the loss. I know how it can hurt. My first fav lala (black Aust) passed away from something she ate. She never did care much IF she should eat it, she was an eater. I once saw her take down a big frog...a big one! Oh it was af\wful she kept slapping it on the ground trying to make him smaller and she did, and yes it went down.

Chickens and like their ownwers....CRAZY!

Yeah. lol sometimes I give them frogs for a treat. but only the small ones.. I thought I had got lucky and had got two very sweet chicks, but, after getting my other one and seeing other peoples posts i now realize that the entire breed is mostly sweet and calm!
