My Silky Roo attacked Me

The Hunter boots might be a nice option for you if you want to protect your legs. They're very good quality and come up to the knees. They can be pricey, but I bought factory thirds from eBay for about a %75 off of retail. They had "bloom" on them that made them look very scuffed, but I know how to remove the bloom and mine now look pristine. I LOVE them! PM me if you want to know how to do it.
 
Chickens are animals. I have raised many of game chickens and only cocks that I did not raise from eggs were man fighters. I am sure regular poultry are the same but more domestic. Handle this roo often if you do not intend to cull. If you have more than one roo cull the rouge.

These traits will be passed on. If you have too many/not enough hens then there is the problem. Game or not roos love to fight it is about territory. They think they are the biggest and baddest and are willing to prove it. Don't fret because it is typically easy to handle.
