White covers everything (it works that way in most animals) so you can get anything out of a white. The white is probably a sable with white covering it.

UPDATE: Another puppy has died leaving 7 I think, the rest are growing big and healthy!

They should take them all to the vet to see what is killing off the puppies before they loose any more! It is NOT usual to loose one puppy, and it is NOT normal to loose two. We have never lost a single puppy in our years of breeding. They may be sick. They may not be getting enough food. Stress to your sister that she needs to have them seen by a vet right away.
