This is a photo of my penny, the one who started squatting a couple days ago.. I'm still waiting! ! But I know it's going to be soon now!!

Pretty girl, she is making you wait for that egg. I remember when you were waiting for DNA tests on the girls and getting them shipped in, hard to believe that they are old enough to start laying already.

Isn't that the truth! ! It just seems like yesterday! My babies I still call them! I guess their grown ladies now. I'll always see them as babies I suppose . Penny is squatting like crazy now every time I get near her and if I pet her she goes crazy squatting down hunch in her neck and spreading her wings. I guess she really does think I'm the rooster! It's so cute! I know the eggs coming this week I just don't know which day! These little girls bring so much joy into my life..it's such a awesome experience to watch them grow and now lay. It happens so fast! I'll keep you posted and post that egg pic when it comes. Who knows, maybe tomorrow?? Fingers crossed! :) ♡♡

Awww, what a cute group of girls, they are really fluffing out nicely. They do look so grown up now don't they, your own little flock of buffs, that color is so pretty, they look like toasted marshmallows.

:) Thank you so much! It's so funny because when I set out to get my babies this year the blues I tested all ended up male so I took the buffs, then penny came from a different breeder they said they had a DNA tested female up for sale, we'll she ended up being a buff too! I tested two little partridges ended up male so I ended up with all buffs this year! If you look at penny compared to the other two you will see her color is much lighter and can tell she's from a different breeder. But it was just luck of the draw I ended up with all buffs. They are so cute together. I'm very lucky because they all feathered so nicely. Although I wish they all had peeps body shape she's the darkest one. She's much heavier in her build and I like them to be heavier. But I'm very happy with them all. I must say they are all good natured and very sweet!

No eggs yet today but she's walking around nervously and picking at shavings. She's also squawking very loudly. She will go to a area and make a clicking sort of sound too. I'm wondering if it will be this morning? I'll let ya all know! She's sure acting strangely

She playing with you, she's going to wait until Friday, Friday I tell you.
I didn't realize you had accidentally wound up with all buffs, thought you did it on purpose after you got the first one :) Well, you wound up with three nice girls, who seem to have wonderful temperaments, most important thing for good pets ... maybe next time you'll get your blue or partridge girl.
