Hey all, painting has commenced. The color is a little darker than I would like so it will be getting a second coat in a lighter shade of stain. Here are two pictures to show progress, trim is also still just in primer obviously.

Finally got the color right and it's all painted. I need to put in nesting boxes/roosts/and do the run fencing then she's all done!



Also... three of my five baby chicks are actually roosters. I think I'll keep one and punt the other two. Pictures of the chicks to come soon

Couldn't you keep the roos, having one become the butler and the other the groundskeeper? From the looks of that "hen house" <ahem>, it's only fitting it have a full staff. J
