my stealth chickie.

Being new to raising chickens, I have found much pleasure and amusement in watching my 6 chicks these last 4 weeks. Drama, my golden comet is the smallest of my brood. She also is the quickest and sneakiest. She will go into stealth mode sneaking in then grabbing the tasty morsel out from under the other chicks then runs, squawking like crazy as the other chicks give chase. She gets to eat her stolen goods about half the time. Today she grabs a red clover flower out of Bunny's (the EE) beak. And the chase is on! They finally corner her and she has no where to go. So she puffs herself up so now she is about 3/4 the size of the others. Nope didn't help. Marsala (the cuckoo maran) takes her flower and now the chase is on again. Poor Drama looks on like "What happened!" If only she would keep quiet about her accomplishments....NOT! She likes to brag! lol
