My suedelettes are hatching!

    She's still working her way around the egg, she is resting now. How far around the egg do they usually go before just popping the top off? The other pip has started working it's way around too but not nearly as much as the first.

    Usually they get almost the entire circumference of the egg around, minus maybe a quarter inch before pushing the top off. Sounds like your temps just slowed the hatch down a little, huh? Maybe one of the Ameraucanas will hatch, then.

    Corey, this old person has to go to bed, but I stayed up as long as I could waiting for Suede's little ones to hatch. I'm sure I'll wake up to a full report tomorrow. Good luck! Hope at least one of the Ameraucanas makes an appearance! [​IMG]
