Okay, some of you might remember that I could not decide if my roo was an Australorp or Sex-link or some type of mix. Now that my first group of chicks are feathering, it is obvious that someone, somewhere is a sexlink because some of the male chicks are feathing barred on their chest. I suspect this is a 1st generation trait from a sex-link breeding.
What do you guys think? Also, these chicks are VERY large. They hatched May 15 and are bigger than any regular size chicks I have raised. I am not sure what I got from the hatchery!
They are going to be beautiful birds, I just hate they don't have a label!
