I'm so sorry you lost your beautiful Shepherd. GSDs are the best. We have a great one, Rex, who is five years old and guards our chicks, ducks, and farm. I've been so impressed with the breed and their intelligence that I just got a new female puppy a couple of months ago that Rex and I are training. We also need two or more to protect our farm with the thousands of acres of surrounding woods. I know how devastated I would be if something happened to Rex so I can only say how sorry I am.

I am truly very sorry. It's not easy when we loose our precious pets. They become such a huge part of the family and burrow their way into our hearts. Again, I am so sorry.

oh im so so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry. yes the pain will eventually decrease but i know it hurts i lost my baby bluebell (yes she was a chicken) recently i dont know what else to say other than im sorry!

I'm so sorry you lost your beautiful girl. Yes, for some people they are "just a dog", but for many of us they are a beloved member of our family. Take the time you need to mourn and don't let anyone make you feel badly for loving her so. I cried for days after I had to put my kitty down; it's been a month and there are still days I cry. Not many people understand it, but I don't care - my loss, I'll do it the way I need to. I hope you will allow yourself the same. Sending consoling hugs to you
