My thin cornish cross

I am finally posting my rooster, Bruce. He is a Cornish cross, we bought him from cackle hatchery with 25 other birds, and he just never filled out. He was tall but just not that heavy. He is just shy of 28 in tall, but I have not weighed him yet. And his feet are as big as my royal palm gobbler. He is rather friendly and like belly rubs, and as you can imagine if there is food involved he is your temporary best friend lol.

Some do, but my point is most have a gray tint.

Most Cornish crosses are Cornish x White Rocks. My guess is he just took on more of the white rock traits.

That's exactly what I was going to say, it could be a throwback to the Plymouth part of the genetics. Hopefully he skips the heart and leg issues as part of the deal.

He seems good, at almost 7 months. He is just starting to act roostery.

He could also be a slow white broiler. Cornish cross are very consistent, they aren’t variable like Easter eggers.
When you offer him food, does he just keep eating and eating, or does he stop when he gets full?

If he is a meat bird he is the gamiest meat bird and will probably live longer than most meat birds. What is his temperament like?

He is pretty nasty to the males, except the ones that picked on him when he was younger. But is sweet with me.
