I feel so much for you and your goose. Hope the vet can make her better!

thank you, tonight all night my little male, her life partner, is missing her. He is standing out there rite now screaming for her. I cannot comfort him, they have never been apart and have spent everyday of their life together. I got them when they were 2-3 days old. the nice posts on here really have been so supportive. I have no friends that are into geese. I love my babies. I can only hope and pray she gets better. We sure miss her at home.

Hoping you have good news today.

I sure hope that the vet can do something to help your little girl..... I sure hope she can pull out of this with the vets help. Please keep us posted on her.

Took her back to the vet will leave her there till after work tomorow night , sad but I just couldnt bare to hear her screaching in pain. I suppose the electric bill wont get paid this month LOL so hopefully she will turn around. The male is so mad rite now that she isnt here but............well I have to feel I have done all I can I cant stand to see a animal in pain, I personally think vets take adantage of that but then so do doctors. Im soo frustrated and bummed. ok all I can do now is pray.
I hope she'll get better soon.

Poor little goose - and poor little lonely gander.

Is the vet able to do anything about the piece of metal - and is that what's causing her to regurgitate?

Today GG died, I burried her in my garden next to my two dogs. I feel so sad but happy she has no more pain. I picked her up from the vet on my way home this evening. I lay her in the front yard. I brought the male around to see her. I stepped back and watched him. He slowly waddeled over to her, he sniffed , looked around and nugged her once. The he laid his head against her's for a second. Then he walked away. He has not made a sound since. I think he kissed he goodbye and we both feel the same.
