my very own micro farm

Thanks for all the good lucks. Still no baby. It is indeed harder than waiting for eggs. Hatchabatch should add a baby option to their app. Would be fun to track lol, due date seems to be a best guess anyways.
Anyways, busy busy busy. Currently watering, counted 9 cantelope this morning. Took some jumbo zucchini into work yesterday and am still plucking the flowering tops from the basil. The turkeys love that little treat.
Always watching my chickens, any new habits or nuances I need to really pay attention to. That being said, my hona pullet has been looking a bit droopy recently, but not the same way the others had progressed from mareks, it looks more like cocci. She's all scrunched up, stands aimlessly in the sun. I started treatment with the corrid, hope it's that simple.

Onwards and upwards

Lost my hona pullet last night while I was at work. Kinda saw it coming, in my fridge now and will be my first rudimentary necropsy, considering I know more or less why she died. I'll check the insides out when I have a minute, she's in the fridge for now. Also want to see how black the meat is.

Still no baby, made the drive last night after work.
False alarm.
But it's soon.

Definitely be getting some pictures of the meat. Any irregularities I find I'll try and document as well. Ill be looking for two specific things since there didn't appear to be any paralysis, lesions on organs and parasites in the intestines, best idea so far of cause.

And yes this baby needs to come. Like right now. Seriously.

I've heard they can be n the brain too?

Tell her to have a glass of beer, one won't hurt the babe....worked for me ;-)
Sometimes our brains work against our bodies and we have to detach the mind and let the body to it's job.
yes even the brain.

Right now we are going with pineapples spicey food and walks.

I hope this baby is as patient when she's on the outside.
