Just checking in on ya to see how you guys weathered the storms...
it was very wet. That electrical issue I had during it could have been alot worse than it was, like house fire worse. It's all fixed now. and I was greeted by an amazingly bright morning, I always look forward to the time change. So many more hours of daylight.
I made another batch of mayo. Doubled the recipe and used the right tools.
Also made that butter last night and as a byproduct also a small amount of buttermilk.
No pictures of the butter in process tho I certainly did not wisk by hand.
Here's one more pic. It's of dinner the other night.
Grilled swordfish and asparagus with porcini rissotto. I bring this up because my baby girl ate more than her mom. Lol. Such a spoiled palate and she doesn't even know it

sauce for fish was; soy, basil, garlic, peanut butter, blackberry jam, dash of Italian and olive oil. A magic bullet works great for these small batches.
The duck is definitely broody and has been marked in the calander. I really don't want to move her, I hear ducks get weird about their nests getting moved.
Did a bit more work on the bator last night. Added some vent holes and finally attached the lid. Required a bit more sanding on the inside once I did. It's running again, I want to see the difference between a cycle outside and on the porch before I decide to move it into the house.
Funny that through the course of typing this post it had become slightly overcast

was looking forward to a sunny reprieve.
Onwards and upwards
