My waterer is getting dirty how do I stop it!

My chickens are kicking dirt into the water and it is already on a brick what do I do!!!

Put it on two bricks with a couple brick in a single layer them to step up on to drink. Another option is a nipple waterer or a hanging waterer.

The horizontal nipple waterers that Rich sells are great. Build them into a system using PVC pipe and a reservoir (5 gal bucket) and your problem will be solved.

Here is what I had before the new nipples, old dirty and full of mud most of the time,



This is what I have now, neat clean and no way mud and poop can get in the water EVER.



A single nipple will handle 5 or 6 chickens no problem,



I have 28 birds in this coop with the single nipple on one wall and 3 more on the front.
