My white silkies are starting to look a different color?????

Ok is it me seeing things or can white silkies change to a different color?? Now they are still getting all there feathers but some of them sure don't look pure white anymore to me. They still have some kinda white look but they also look like they have some real dark color coming in or something??Is this normal?
I have never had them so I am clueless.

They may be splash or grays that are coloring late.

Usually they will but you don't know what genes are in their lineage. Recessive genes pop out every now and then.
