She is an absolute love too. Jumps on my lap, let's me carry her around and she purrs LOUDLY.

I agree he sounds like a keeper. My DH is like that. I was so upset at the loss of my cat he said to me one day out of the blue ' I think we need another mouser". Now he is not a cat person and I am so he knew it would make me happy.

Hmmmmmmm.........As for the name I like Abby. I just got a Brown Leghorn chick I named Abby. My new cat is Izzy,short for Isabelle. Sometimes it takes me a few days to name a pet. Gotta see what fits her.
