My Wood ducks eyes...

Hey!
So I have a question about my wood duck. He is over 3 months and his eye colour hasn’t changed at all. He is now getting his adult male colouring. Is this normal?

Are you sure it’s a male? Wood Duck females look like that when they Are still young

im not a pro at duck sexing and you said he is getting male coloring but from what I see it resembles a female, maybe just not fully colored but the male wood ducks I know of have dark green heads and colorful bodies

Ok sounds good! Love the diaper 😍 Does he get access to the outside and pond/bathtub? I see he must be a house duck so I want to make sure he’s living life to the fullest! He certainly is a chill little duck

Oh yes! We built a pond for him in our back yard and he has a mini tub in his enclosure and gets baths in the bath tub all the time!! He is king of the house lol! :) he also gets some fishies in his enclosure bath sometimes too! :)

Grea! He’s a spoiled duck 😍 I think he’s very happy to get those fish! Is he an only duck (man of the house) or does he rule over a duck kingdom. Either is good 👍
 
he’s an only duck but I would love to get another If I could but he has really bonded with our dog and oddly our one cat :)
