Anyway. I would reconsider the roosts being at varying heights. If you get heavy breeds they need low roosts to prevent injury, about 30". They fly a lot higher as teenagers but their joints don't need the stress as adults. And if you vary the height, you are giving them something else to fight about, as the highest in the pecking order gets the highest roost. I have a bunch of 10 week old roos, most headed for the freezer, but I want to keep some for making new babies for next year. Even with 3 roosts at the same height, I see more squabbling over roost position than I would like. They squabble enough as it is....
