My worm box incubator

hey redneck...how goes the hatchfest in the wormbox incubator???

I candled the eggs this morning. I don't think they are fertile. I will candle them in another 5 days and see. I hope they are.

Just candled again. I was able to see movement in some of the eggs. The shells are dark brown and they are hard to see through. I'll be passing out cigars before long

yEEEEEHAAA!!!!!!!!!!! great work mate! I put my silkie eggs in last night...have turned em 3 times today so far. Temp is sitting around 98.4 so I turned the bator up JUST A FRACTION!!!!! hopefully when i check it in an hour its not too hot!

I candled at 5 days and I am going to candle at 10 days.

I believe I have 6 eggs out of 9 that have viable embryos.

thats fantastic mate what kind of eggs are they again?...my eggs have been in the bator about 2.5days now...hatch is due July 10th. I believe the eggs were a few days old when they were shipped to me so Im really not sure when I count day 1 for candling purposes. I mean I know they still have to do the whole 21days in the bator thing but do I candle them now or wait another 3 days?

They are Black Star (sex link). I got a dozen Road Island Reds This morning. This could get out of hand real quick.: lol:

I candled this morning and it appears I have 8 fertile eggs. Plus the 12 I put in this morning.
