Their personalities! They are the spunkiest little birds ever! They are very people friendly and make great pets. Everyone that comes here and sees them wants to get some. They are also one of the prettiest birds I raise. They make great broody mamas too.hi @mymilliefleur what a beautiful flock! I would love to add more color to my flock but no room at the moment.
I know what you about people having conversations. Sometimes it feels awkward trying to find a way to jump in.
What makes you a fan of the mille fleurs in particular?

Hey Meg!Hello Celia! I'm so glad you made this thread. I'm in the same boat as you and want to try and be more active again. I love reading about and seeing pictures of your flocks, especially your d'Uccles!
Yes, they are Bantams. They are very calm, unlike most other bantam breeds, so they do well in smaller spaces. They're bantams right? That means more chickens in the same space...hmmm. I've seriously thought about bantams so I can have more color variety.
They really are adorable! You have quite the menagerie there.
Got 2 D'Uccles, they are aweome! Fav bantam by far. I got a Porcelain cockerel, his name is Napoleon (obviously) and his girlfriend, a Mille fleur named Edna Mae@BantammChick Welcome! You have two adorable critters there!
