Mysterious black dot on comb of one of my Rhode Island Reds

Can anyone tell me if this is disease or injury? I've red about fowl pox but I feel like it looks more like a scab from others pecking. She is about 15 weeks old and lives with 7 other ladies around the same age. The dot has grown in the past couple of days but not very much. Started as just a black pencil dot. Now it looks more like a scab. Any ideas? Should I be doing something or will it go away on its own?

Thanks for responding. I just wanted to let you know she has a beautiful healthy comb now! The others must have just been jealous.
