Mysteriously Disappearing Eggs + No Hatches

I believe has nothing to do with breeding father to daughter, as a matter of fact most of us do it.. Its called line breeding and can and is done successfully.. There are hundreds of reasons why a chick makes it to the final stage and doesn't hatch and dies, it happens to all of us..

You just have to decide whether it is something you want to do. I don't know anyone here that has 100% successful hatch rates 100% of the time (in an incubator) You just have to decide if your willing to keep trying and find out what works best for you in your area.

Yeah we decided maybe next year we will get a real incubator. The thing is is that I think the past owner was line breeding them for a very long time. Another stupid question, are very loud peeps good, bad, or are just normal chirping? Because when I say this chick is loud I mean its LOUD.

Edit It sounds like distress calls.

cant tell as I am not hearing it and i am not there, my instincts and experience with getting over anxious tells me to leave them alone, in the right conditions things go wrong and since your conditions are not normal and as humans we are never perfect helping may harm them as much as leaving them be

I cannot tell you what it sounds like, I don't know. I can tell you almost everytime I thought thought they were in trouble and I assisted the chick wasn't ready to hatch and died. I think maybe three survived... it is a perfect case of each one is different and only you can make that decision
