Mysteriously Disappearing Eggs + No Hatches

The new pipping duck seems to be doing awesome. However they still haven't broken through the membrane, and they pipped last night

I'm waiting for my ducks too. And their mom's name is also Cheese daddy is crackers. Due date is today. But I'm going to give them an extra week just in case. Some of my chicks took a few extra days. This is my first experience at using an incubator. Last week chicks started hatching and a few more are today. Most are mutts but they are beautiful. Good luck with your ducklings.

Thanks! We have one still trying to pip through the membrane and it's been around 24 hours. Is this normal or do they need assistance?

I usually help my chicks if it's been that long. The membrane is sometimes so thick they can't break from it. Ducks I don't know about yet. This is my first experience with them. Remember if you see blood in the membrane leave it alone.

I just found two of the ducks with breaks in the shell two others popping internally. Hoping I have little ones by morning.

We are giving the duckling one more day. I she hasn't pipped then we are going to help her.

The duckling has pipped! and she is doing very well!

One duck was pipping early this am now I hear nothing? Also the chick that hatched this am is pecking on externally pipped eggs. Is this ok?
