So Finger Lakes NY
I bought a 6 pack of day olds to put under my broody bantam cochin on hatch day 2..and then actually hatched 4 total over 4 days. Then bought 3 more a month later from someone else.

Which means I am at 10 weeks and looking at these 13 birds wondering how many of them are going to start crowing enough for my existing rooster to start attacking.

The only ones I am very sure on is a pair of bantam cochins because one has wattles and the other does not.
2 birds are mystery mixes. 1st up is Goliath, the only standard baby. Not sure if was climbing on mama because needed some reassuring snuggles or was overcome with ardor.
I believe it is a standard egger x lavender Orpington

Woo caught 2 today! Hen raised chicks are different.
Purchased silkie (2 of which had cross beak and went to a rescue)

And from the home hatch - bantam eggers. 3 that look more like their recently departed laying mom (but much less friendly) and one that looks more like the many many boys from the batch and is very shy. But not like keeper dad

(current ankle pecking jerk) who went through lots of color change so I am paranoid.

The new pointy hackles coming in.

You could take a closer look at his saddle region, there should be growing some pointy and shiny new feathers at his age.
If the back end takes after egger, then I would expect saddle feathers but it doesn't look like Orpington does as obvious tail.
