the barred one looks like a barred rock or a barred rock mix...the darker one may be an ee. ee can come in many different colors

Got to my real computer instead of just my phone, and looked at the Murray McMurray hatchery video - looks like a big white chest/belly is pretty normal. So yeah, I think at least one is a barred rock, probably both.

Could be a barred EE sold as an "americauna" other could be as welll...but black

OK, so here are some new pics of the babies. They are 3 weeks old now and i'm wondering what your opinions are. Here's the one everyone said was a Barred Rock. This one has what looks like a few little tufts coming out the sides of it's face, not sure if you can see them in the second pic down, and a dark wash on the front of the legs.

And here's the other one that no one had a clue. I should mention that he/she is not black, but a dark brownish color, and also has a dark wash down the front of it's legs.


Any ideas as to what breed and gender they both are. Like I said, the guy that sold them to me said that they were Araucanas, but I'm not believing that at this point. Maybe some kind of EE's?

Anyone have any ideas? Like I said, the black and white one that looks like a barred rock has what looks to be little tufts sticking out on the side of it's face. Also, any ideas on what sex they are yet?

what kind of combs do they have? They seem kinda raised to be peacombs...and the legs look pink?
