Mystery Brahma?

Hi all! So glad to be a part of Backyard Chickens. This is my first post. Of my four baby chicks (who are now almost 2 weeks old), 2 are supposed to be Buff Brahmas. The feathered feet of both of the girls gives me reason to believe that they are in fact both Brahmas, but one has a much darker head and back. Does anyone have any insights into this? Is she a Dark Brahma, an irregularity, or something else? Thanks for your thoughts!

the white and black one looks like a light brahma. The other is a dark Brahma

She's the Brahma closest to the camera. (The one behind her looks dark in the picture, but she's actually got the classically golden
Buff Brahma chickie head.)

i see two buff and two dark brahmas in the last pic, Maybe even one buff and one light. Pics are not to clear. Phones are always hard to get good pics on lol

Dark Brahma chicks are usually more chipmunky. I think the darker chicks look like Buff Brahmas. If they are something other than the common light/dark/buff then I can't help you. I've had bunches of good quality Buff Brahmas where the chicks were all sorts of colors but evened out as they feathered in.

I have hatched out several dark brahma chicks and they all have had a yellow/brown/black mottled head and chipmunky body. I have never seen ones uniformly dark like that. The lighter two look like buff or light (cell pick could be altering the feather colors so much). Could the dark ones be cochins?
