OKAY! I CONFESS! I just 5 mins ago got back from southern milling with 9 birds identical to those. They sold them as BR. But if it helps, they are carbon copies.

i had a feeling it was a roo... it's feathers were not developing as fast as the others, but it did get it's tail pretty fast originally. my other roo barely has a tail and it's the same age, different breed. but the females(?) all have most of their backs and chests covered in feathers while this guy does not...
