How can you tell if one is a bantam? I have 3 Japanese bantams & the tail feathers are distinctly different from this Cornish female.

She’s a bantam. It’s the size.

That's because they are a different breed. Bantam is a size, not a breed.

Thank you for replying! I don’t think it’s a seabright. They have similar markings but the color of mine is darker and has more green hues & a different tail shape.

Thanks! I wanted a few just to have in the backyard for eggs...well, I ended up with 17... whoops! I have a few different breeds and this one just had me stumped. Thank you for the help!
