The lighter one looks like the Old English Game I googled ,but the darker one looks like a jungle fowl ,could they be one of each ,the flock the breeder bought was a mix of both colours ,or maybe hybrids ?

I am going to google the breed,they are beautiful birds ,I really like them ,they are a lot like my Hamburgs who are my favourite breed its why I would like to find out what they are so I can look for some more

thanks I am going to read it now ,the hens are quite skittish and I cant catch them unless they are roosting at night but gentle with the other birds even the youngsters so I wondered if that was normal for game breeds ?

They won't lay as well as Hamburgs but are excellent broodies. Depending on where you live, it shouldn't be too difficult to find more of them, but beware-- male American gamefowl should not be raised with other males. They are fighting birds, but generally good with people.
The females are fine together, though.

And yes, they are very beautiful!

Do alot of research in raising and housing in gamefowl before you go thinking they will coexist together like regular chickens

Like other breeds, they will fight until the pecking order is established. These are not Aseels, but American gamefowl.

I dont mind if they dont lay many eggs ,I bought them mostly as company for a cockeral so I asked the lady I buy most of my chickens off to keep an eye out for suitable hens .But I really need good broodys so that would be good
