Unsure about these two chick's. Red one is 10 weeks and a barnyard mix. I keep going back and forth between hen and roo and the little one is 5 weeks and came out of the barred rock pullet Bin at rural king. it's obviously not a barred rock and they way it's tail feathers are makes me think not pullet. Are they hen or roo (I'm fine with either) and any guess on the little ones breed?

Production Red cockerel, and the other one is too young to tell much of anything (also, I can't see anything helpful from that photo).

Probably an Australorp, it looks a little cold too.

Thanks. I was kinda thinking australorp also and its almost 70 here and there 5 weeks I been letting them outside in a seperate coop during the day.In the last picture it was kinda fluffed up. it had just stood up and fluffed and shook out its feathers. Do you think 5 weeks is to young to let then out during the day at those temps?

Those temperatures are fine at that age, a bit of fluffing up is normal, as long as it isn't fluffed up constantly. It's so tiny and cute in those photo which made my mothering instincts kicked in, so adorable.
