I agree that these are either beginning Mille Fluer project Cochins, or poor quality (maybe a hatchery version). They ARE however, adorable anyways. I agree with Tinychicky, if you are pretty certain his joint is dislocated, it's pretty inhumane to not get him any treatment, especially since the cure is so simple. Doing nothing when you have the power to stop his pain, isn't doing the poor thing any favors.
Most every city has an 'exotic animal' vet. They might not have direct experience with chicken joints, but they have a heck of a lot more training in treating animals than your average Joe.
