Mystery eggs

I Have a lavender orpington that appears to be laying 2 eggs a day is this normal.

Not normal. Apparently you have more than one laying. Pick them up and look at the vent. If it is moist and there is more than 3 fingers space between the pelvic bones, they are likely laying.

It takes about 25 hours to make an egg and 21 hours of that is spent in the shell gland which doesn't really have room for more than one egg.
