Mystery wound (pictures) please help!

Hey guys, an update on my hen: we gave her a second dose of baytril solution this morning (0.4ml) as recommended by the vet. My vet said to give each hen this amount for a fortnight. So her sister has also been treated.

In terms of straight away improvement, she has stopped gasping for air.

Her wound seems to be healing, it's a lighter colour which is really good. I need to keep on with the betadine.

She also seems to be perking up (enjoying rice and cuddles, having a little drink) so I really hope she is okay (vet said the bacterial infection was very bad so to take each day as it comes).

Ahh there you go, fingers crossed :)

Positive thoughts!! :fl

Update, my hen pictured seems to be managing (yay!) and they are both on daily doses of Baytril. A new, sad turn of events is that her sister now has a puffed up right breast (I felt it, and it's very hard). Poor thing :( She was also making distressed chirps tonight :( Fingers crossed.
