hello all I have sad news to report we had a silver laced Wyandotte hen pass away this evening from unknown causes this is the second hen we've lost like this they have been fine a few hours earlier and then suddenly died does anyone have any idea what this might be - the other hen died about 1 year ago thanks for any help - Jonathan

Can you describe any symptoms they has before they died, such as diarrhea, an enlarged crop, and respiratory problems, trouble walking, or acting lethargic? Your state vet can do a necropsy on a chicken that has been refrigerated in a plastic bag, and sent or taken in as soon as possible. Sorry for your loss.
