N.E. Chickenstock 2011!!!!!! Who's up for it??

It sounds like I missed out by not coming up the night before! I'll have to crash one of these cocktail parties you all keep talking about. If there's one thing I like better than chickens it's a cocktail! I really hoped to meet Gretchen's Grey Goose too. alas.

Just for fun, here's a photo of a little frizzle Cochin x Serama I got from Steph. She refuses to hang out with birds of her own size, so she has managed to make herself at home with the big girls. Fine by me! Her name is Bubbles now. She's becoming a fast favorite.

My two chicks from Gretchen are also doing great, and are drawing lots of interest by visitors to the yard. They're still waiting for names, but are turning out very sweet.

Keep me posted about the next party, chickens or not!

I didn't say I couldn't I just said I don't have as much space as Steph and Jason does:-( How about we have a small one? I will not open it to locals-just BYCer's? That should dwindle it down in numbers? Dont you think?

You do realize that our chickenstock was only BYCers right?? I mentioned it to a few of my friends that also have chickens, but that was only about 2 or 3 people... Other than that, it was "word of mouth".

So are you going to host one? I know the wheels are turning about having a NY one...I'd love to help.

I knew it was only BYC'ers, but a lot of it was also word of mouth to other BYC'ers, also. PLus, friends and family who may not have bought anything, but tagged along to see what it was all about.
