I know I'm not supposed to help them out, but #43 was sitting there with a big hole in the egg with a foot sticking out.
It wasn't going to make it without help. It looked much better before I left for work.

I know. They're everywhere. Once I call this hatch done I'm going to shake them out into my adult pen's calcium dish along with some of the hatched egg shells. I give them oyster shell all the time, but they really prefer the egg shell. The egg shell pieces are killing me.
I have to pick them up... While they're hatching.I know. They're everywhere. Once I call this hatch done I'm going to shake them out into my adult pen's calcium dish along with some of the hatched egg shells. I give them oyster shell all the time, but they really prefer the egg shell.
Me too! I can't handle them tripping and falling all over the empties, I had one get its head stuck inside an empty that closed back up on it! Poor dummy!I have to pick them up... While they're hatching.![]()
Oh, I pick up the empties. @Kiki is talking about the shell fragments still on the paper towel.Me too! I can't handle them tripping and falling all over the empties, I had one get its head stuck inside an empty that closed back up on it! Poor dummy!
