These are one day, and 2 weeks old. The big one ended up a girl and the little one was a boy.

They are just too cute. Are yours fully black then? Or did the feather out differently? These are one day, and 2 weeks old. The big one ended up a girl and the little one was a boy.

You should get some beautiful babies from him!Just a two week update, now 5 weeks old.. for anyone in the future looking for info, @janiedoe was 100% correct. He’s a little cockerel, lots of chest bumping happening over here but he gentle to our little pullet compared to other threads I’ve read so far.
7 months old one is Black/White the sibling is White/Black. The mom is a Naked neck and the feather is an Amrock I think.3 weeks old today, I got this chick locally with another yellow but now white chick, I asked if they were crossed with anything and the breeder said “no they are 100% Transylvania turkens”… but my little black chick has ended up barred and he also had 50 barred rocks for sale so I’m thinking mom or dad jumped a fence. Do you think this is a possible cockerel, the reddening around the face just started in the last two days but I’m not seeing any wattle growth yet and the comb is relatively yellow still but the comb is quite a bit bigger than the hatch mate. I know it’s very early but I’m curious what others think.
