They are adorable. I always thought that all white was boring, but I have one chick from my last hatch that is white (all mixed breeds) and love the way she looks because when she stretches out her wings they look like angel wings. My turken in my avatar pick was white at first but developed the coloring very quickly. (Which I love.) I do want to get a pure white NN though. I want to breed my avatar roo with my white girl and see what happens, and since I am clueless with genetics breeding will be a complete hit and miss with me...lol I wouldn't want a flock of white chickens, that's no fun, but I don't mind a couple here and there to offset my wonderful variety.
Do the naked necks from ideal have bow-ties?
The less bowtie the better. You'll have most all naked necked babies.
Oh good.Oh my, I'm not sure if I have adult pictures. I do have this picture of them with their adoptive mother:

You can see the white-ish looking ones who feathered in red, and a little black one lurking in the bottom picture, behind the barred rock in front. That's what they all looked like when I got them. I did like the red color of the red ones, it was almost a RIR type red.
Oh I like bowties.
To my knowledge he is the offspring of a white. That picture in the Avatar looks to be a Splash. If he is the offspring to a white will probably be blue and black.

Oh I see.I like the small ones, but in breeding them especially to outcross non NN it helps get more naked necks.
This question is for nicalandia. It does not pertain to nacked necks, but what would I get if I crossed an exchequer leghorn roo with a red leghorn hen what would the offspring look like. I asked on this thread because I know nicalandia frequents this thread often.
