Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Guess it'll just be a waiting game then, I have no idea on her lines, she came to me with 2 barred rocks, a buff brahma, a white one (barnyard mix I'm assuming) and a game girl of some sort....I'm just now hearing one of the barred rocks crow, I can only assume they are somewhat around the same age....but I have no definites besides she's a N.N lol

I don't know what to call this color. Gold Duckwing or Golden Wheaten, or just Wheaten. Has the chipmunk stripe of the Duckwing. Pullet.

Barred Partridge pullet. Looks like the partridge base is fading out. It not really a black base either so, I don't know.

Partridge cockerel.

Another Partridge cockerel.

All four of these are from the crossing of a Silver Barred Naked Neck (Black Sex Link) over a Black Crossbred hen. The hen is 1/2 Black Jersey Giant 1/4 Easter Egger and 1/4 Production Red. I'm not claiming pure NN yet. These babies are only 1/8 EE. When the EE falls off a five generation pedigree thorn I'll claim PB. Unless if course green/blue eggs are still showing up. I don't expect any to show in thus line though, tge sure had none in his side and the hen laid brown eggs, so I figure tge blue egg gene is lost to this line.

(And full marks for your sewing skills. I'm impressed - I don't know how I would even start designing clothes for a chicken...)

No mottling in both however he is the male version of the pullet's color.

The boy in backbround is mottled for sure, combined with barring. He's wonderful too!

That boy is the one that had a solid white back that we were talking about whether he was pied or not. (the mottled in the background)

The rooster that I've been calling Silver Barred looks a lot like this rooster. A sort of Black Sex Link color.

FTP t rooster is a beauty, for a make anyway. I've never gotten a rooster that color but as Kev days I've gotten the female version several tines. Always wonder how he rooster would look, now I know.

I really like that roster.in the background he for sure would put skins spots on my birds. Keel your eye on him if I come that way I just might look him up and convince him to come home with me.

I believe the top roo'let is some form of Birchen in the mix.

It could be. Sometimes there are things you see In person that you cannot see in pictures. I think mine had a little more silver white over his back and saddle area..
