I haven't had a girl scsc long enough to know if she will go broody, Phyllis hasn't even started laying yet. Precious (kev's girl) laid later then most I believe, but he never said she went broody so don't believe she ever did either. I would imagine since it is hormonal it is possible for her to go broody, she would only be able to cover a few eggs at most and I doubt she could adequately keep chicks warm w/o wing feathers.
That would be weird sight. But I agree that there is no way she could keep the chicks warm. It would be a great thing to see and try.
