Hi, anyone in upstate NY (near Syracuse) want a 6 week old NN Roo

I have a small flock of 15 hens and already have 2 NN roosters and a Frizzle Cochin Bantam Roo.. I really can't keep another one.. He was hen raised and hatched, so not really handled much (mama was a very protective 1st time mom) but still young enough to make into your best friend if that's what you want.. Mom is a small hen (maybe 5lbs) high % NN (small bowtie, lots), dad is a lower %(larger bow tie) and probably goes 8-9lbs and very mellow,Charlie takes good care of his girls and is the dominant Roo. I also have at least 1 other chick from this hatch that is probably a roo, while not NN himself, he does carry the genes from the rooster.

definitely free of charge, even willing to deliver within a reasonable distance. We've processed before, but those were bought roos, I'm having a hard time imagining processing one that we candled, waited to be hatched, etc. etc...

my new chicks just start to hatch,i have 4 already 2 nn and 2 no nn,and my houdan hen with my nn roo have their first baby

Naked Neck X Blue Partridge Brahma aged about 14 weeks. Large, thick set, friendly birds, they are excellent foragers and fliers and find the majority of their own food (they have a very large area to free range, though).

3 cockerels to one pullet as predicted.

The boys, plus Jezobel, the pullet.

The boys, 2:3 still with green eyes.

RyRy2, I think your boy is very, very pretty, but there's no way I could fetch him or swop him!

At least three out of the six La Fleche eggs which had no heat in the incubator for 24 hours have survived, so my next experiment may still be on (though the last was not an intentional one).

pgpoultry - thank you, I guess Wales is a bit far

I love your blues though, they are gorgeous, I'ld love a blue pullet, I was really hoping this little guy was going to be a pullet, but when the comb went went at under 4 weeks, I was pretty sure it was a Roo.
