It is a slow time on the NET. Folks are just trying to make the best of the last days of summer. PG, great pic of Mort doing his dance and funny seeing the backside of the Penciled Brahma. My bantam turkens are having fun in the sun but do not seem to be growing much. Of course I am not sure how big they will be since this is the first time that I have them. The silkie showgirl is larger than they and I know that she is full grown.

Now I don't what to sound mean or anything like that....... but I just don't find them all that nice to look at.

Now I'm not going to ask why you guys like them so much b/c that would be like you guys asking me why I love Silver Laced Wyandottes so much, I just do, can't help it! But I will ask one thing..... are they nice birds with a good temperament? You know, do they make nice pets? If they do then maybe I could better understand why you all love them so much.

I was sure I would get a reply like that. They sound like very nice birds that make tame pets and that make your breakfast almost every day.... but I just don't think I can get over the vulture look.... you know what I mean?
